Animal Shaped Cards

Hi guys! I am making a post after quiet a long time now. So I’ve decided to post something cute and easy to make. These circular cards are actually like a bird, frog and unicorn. It requires very less items and is extremely easy. Towards the end of the activity I’ve added a video demonstrating how to make the cards. I’ve added a poem at the end of the activity as your bonus entertainment.

The Bird 🐤

Requirements:

  • Light yellow paper circle
  • Dark yellow paper circle with slightly bigger radius
  • Square sheet of orange paper
  • Black felt tip pen
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Step:1 Stick the smaller yellow circle on the big yellow circle.

Step:2 Fold the orange sheet of paper diagonally to obtain a triangular shaped card and then stick it on the lower part of the circle.

Step:3 Draw eyes and nose of the bird.

Step:4 Take some sticky notes and draw the shape of feathers on it. Cut it out and paste it on the back of the circle.

The bird is ready.

The Frog 🐸

Requirements:

  • Dark green paper circle
  • Light green paper circle with slightly bigger radius
  • Square sheet of green pattern paper
  • Black felt tip pen
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Step:1 Stick the smaller green circle on the big green circle.

Step:2 Fold the sheet of pattern paper vertically to obtain a rectangular shaped card. Draw the frog’s mouth on it and cut it out. Then stick it on the lower part of the circle.

Step:3 Cut two ears from the pattern paper scraps and stick it on the back of the circle.

Step:4 Draw eyes and nose of the frog.

The frog is ready.

The Unicorn 🦄

Requirements:

  • Pink pattern paper circle
  • Sea blue paper circle with slightly bigger radius
  • Rectangular sheet of white paper
  • Black felt tip pen
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Step:1 Fold the blue circle in half to form a semi circular card and stick it on the pink pattern paper.

Step:2 Draw two ears and the horn of the unicorn on the white sheet of paper. Cut them and stick on the back of the circle.

Step:3 Draw eyes and ears of the unicorn.

The unicorn is ready.

The poem: Animals

I am getting really bored,

“What to do? Oh! What to do?” I roared!

That is when an idea hit me,

Let’s make an animal card, wee hee!
